Uhhhhhh WHAT?! Who is this person writing a blog post on Classroom Cartoons?
It's me guys :)
Long hiatus, I know, I know, you've all forgotten about me by now but I'm at it again. Apparently.
UPDATES ON MY LIFE!
I'm in my last year at university now so I guess I should update that description on my front page. Next semester will hopefully be the last time I will be paying for four months of boredom and social awkwardness. Oh how I'll miss it....
I'm taking five courses this semester because I love pain and every class has AT LEAST one group project which is just the best. I'm also working at a place that I really like but guess what! I'm not getting paid to be there! Woohoo! I'm an intern! In fact, sometimes, I actually PAY* to work there! Yay me!
And now onto the socially awkward blog post you all came here to read:
In one of my classes I'm doing a group project with my sister and this other girl we will call Quiettalker McNeedstotalklouder. Quiettalker is a great girl, but I have never met someone who needs a class in How to be Normal more than myself!
Quiettalker is, let me say this right, she is a...very...quiet talker. And it takes all my control not to yell at her. I have this strange reaction to her, the quieter she talks, the louder I get. It's like I'm trying to get the point across that we're allowed to talk in class when we're working on a project but also I'm just so angry at her because I can't hear her that I start yelling everything to get some of the frustration out.
Maybe we should take that How to be Normal class together....
Anyways, after the fifth time I say "what?" I just nod my head like I know what she's talking about. I can't wait for this project to be over and I won't have to listen to her whispers any more.
In case you were wondering, this is not what any of my profs look like:

How I Learned to Deal with Stress
My dear, dear friends. It has been so long since my last post! I honestly thought I would manage at least one more post during anxiety month but I guess I overestimated my capabilities. Although technically it's been more than a month, anxiety month is not yet over (so I AM doing another post! yay me!), tomorrow I have a final project due and have to do a group presentation and then the next day another final project and presentation. Yet somehow I managed to make it through this rough time in the semester. And now for the funny story...
So my sister and I decided to be healthy back in September and then in January we decided to step it up cuz we were going to Florida. Well after Florida we kept at it and started doing a fitness regime from bodybuilding.com or something like that and we basically starting lifting weights. Now for anyone who knows me they know that I have the noodle arms like no other. I had no definition whatsoever in my biceps so when I say "weight lifting" I mean that I started out using like 5lbs dumbbells and, sometimes, even 3 lbs! AND IT WAS HARD!
Well, now we're at the end of our eighth week which meant today we had to take pictures of our progress so far. We honestly didn't think there was much difference from week four and we had this brilliant idea to use a two for one coupon for spray tanning which we figured would make us look better in our progress pics.
Remember how I said I have two presentations in the next two days?
It was a terrible and awesome idea!
We looked so ripped in our progress pics but in real life it was a whooooole different story!
Have you ever walked by a mirror and started laughing at your own reflection? Or walked into a room and started laughing at the person sitting in there who simultaneously starts laughing at you for the same reason?
We look (still look) ridiculous and awesome. So I drew a picture of it.
My porcelain skin has never been this colour before! I look like I just spent a month in Mexico. Tomorrow is gonna be just awesome standing in front of my class, 10 shades darker than I was last week....Did I mention I was skipping my class tonight? For obvious reasons.

Cowboy Kitty
Hello friends,
Today is the last day before anxiety month, actually I could probably stretch it to Sunday being the last day but I'm gonna try to actually not procrastinate this weekend.
What I mean is, today is the last day before I NEED to start studying for midterms and working on group/final projects. And let me tell you, I've got a lot of group projects to work on and midterms to study for. Frick I hate this semester.
In honour of the last day before anxiety month (by which I mean now til April), I'm throwing a party! Some friends are down for reading break and we're gonna have some nice social time at my house playing good natured board games, drinking warm milk and snacking on tea cookies.
Yup.
This party definitely will NOT involve jello shots, drinking games, or potentially racist costumes. That's just not how we roll...
And now the cutest picture I have ever drawn that has nothing to do with a certain costume party I may or may not be throwing:
That is one bad ass cowboy kitty. Just look at that scowl, so cute and angry at the same time!
